Net 2005, Unbound Data Grid Viewer with 2 (two) columns ("Check Num" Index 0; "Clear Date" Index 1). I tried MS's Help pages and oh, those are useful (heavy sarcasm).
I would like to be able to validate the cells and force the user to put correct values in it.
How can I disable the cell validating event for the rows that was added before???
The following code example illustrates the use of this property.
Here is what the validation method looks like : to get what you want.
Net 2008 and trying to validate a certain cell with certain values like: In Data Grid View1 i want to check the entered data in column 1 and cell 1 if it's less than 10 or not so i used the following code Private Sub Data Grid View1_Cell Validating(By Val sender As Object, By Val e As System.
Data Grid View Cell Validating Event Args) Handles Data Grid View1.
The following code example handles the Cell Validating event to ensure that only positive integers are entered by the user. Error Text = "" Dim new Integer As Integer ' Don't try to validate the 'new row' until finished ' editing since there ' is not any point in validating its initial value.
(Code Behind the Row Validating does get triggered when navigating to different row.) This is not consistant.
But it does not seem to get invoked when navigating to another Cell.
This example is part of a larger example available in the Virtual Mode reference topic.
